Revenue Sharing
- 65% of net revenue (revenue less directly attributable costs i.e. transaction fee and discounts) of each subject shall be allocated to the service provider.
- Directly Attributable costs
- Transaction cost- cost of processing the amount charged by payment gateways.
- Normal discounts- Discounts that are given on all courses of MasterMind.
- Withholding taxes as per Income Tax Ordinance 2001 and Income Tax Rules 2002.
- 100% cost of teaching platform will be borne by MasterMind.
- Price for all individual subjects will be mutually agreed upon with the respective service providers before being published on the portal.
- All standard marketing costs shall be borne by MasterMind.
- Any additional marketing cost specific to the service provider shall be borne by the service provider itself. Medium of marketing shall be provided by MasterMind free of cost.
Mode of Lectures
- Currently MasterMind allows to conduct live lectures only.
- One-off recorded lectures for the students can be forwarded to the admin for review. Once
reviewed, admin shall forward the relevant lecture to the students.
Payment
- All payments shall be issued to the service providers within 7 working days from the date the
amount is credited into MasterMind’s account.
- Service providers must have accounts in the banks recommended by MasterMind to avoid any
transaction charges on the transfer.
- Service providers not having accounts in the recommended banks shall be paid through cheque.
Resources
- Service providers will be given access to upload their resources such as notes, articles and blogs.
- Service providers are allowed to market themselves through their notes although watermarks
which make the text less readable are highly discouraged.
- Academic timetables shall be mutually agreed upon between MasterMind and the service
provider before being published.
- Any changes or update in timetable shall be communicated by the service provider to the admin
department of MasterMind beforehand.
- Not following the timetable without a genuine reason shall result in cancellation of lecturer’s
account. If it constitutes as a loss of reputation to MasterMind, lecturer’s payment shall be
withheld as a penalty.
- Notes of every service provider shall be reviewed by the admin and then published to the portal.
- Footer of all the notes shall be reserved for MasterMind for marketing purposes.
Misconduct/ Theft of IP
- Defrauding MasterMind by undercutting or lowballing students or by unethically approaching
students for tuitions shall result in strict legal and financial action as per the law.
- Any damages shall be equivalent to the loss of business to MasterMind which will be
determined by MasterMind at the time misconduct or theft of IP is established.
- Strict legal and financial action shall be taken in case of academic misconduct or theft of
Intellectual Property as per IP law of Pakistan.
- Financial penalty shall be borne by the service provider on or before the date established for the
penalty. In case of non-compliance, a civil or criminal lawsuit (depending on the case) shall be
filed in the courts established in Karachi.
- This agreement shall be revoked and service provider’s account removed from our portal with at
least two weeks prior notice from either party. In case of any misconduct or unethical behavior
by the service provider, additional penalties may apply.
